Noch eine Karte für den 18. Geburtstag meiner Tochter. Ich musste den Sketch um 180 Grad drehen damit ich den TExt "celebrate you" schön lesbar mit der Betonung auf dem YOU platzieren konnte.
Eigentlich wollte ich noch das Törtchen aus dem gleichen Set auf der Karte setzen, aber das sah so komisch aus, dass es nun auch sehr gut ohne geht. Die halben waagerechten Kreise machen sich sehr gut und geben den beiden Zahlen Halt. Ich finde ein sehr elegantes Ergebnis.

Another card for the 18th birthday of my daughter . I had to rotate the sketch, so the text "Celebrate You" is nicely readable  with an emphasis on YOU . Actually I wanted to put the little cup cake of same stamping set on the map, but it looked so strange. The half horizontal circles do very well and give the two figures hold. I find it's a very elegant result .

Weihnachtskarten Challenge #30

Ich liebe diese kleinen Häuschen. Es macht Freude, sie zu kolorieren. Die Flocke und der kleine Schneehaufen vor dem Haus sind aus Gliterpapier, genau wie die kleinen weißen Schneeflocken. Der Hintergrund ist geprägt und die Häuschen mit Abstandhaltern aufgeklebt.

I love this little houses. It is a pleasure to colourise them . The flake and small piles of snow in front of the house are made of glisten paper, as well as the little white snowflakes . The background is embossed and I gloud the three houses with small spacers.

Diesmal eine kleiner Geburtstagskarte für eine gute Freundin, die ich zu einem Geschenk gelegt hab. Eigentlich wollte ich die Blüten noch ausmalen, aber dann gefiel mir das filigrane doch sehr gut und so hab ich auf das Colorierern verzichtet. Ich bin ganz erstaunt über den eleganten Ausdruck dieses Sketches. Bin gespannt wie meine Freundin reagiert.

This time a little birthday card for a good friend, which I 've placed to a gift. Actually, I wanted the flowers filled with color, but then I liked the filigree form quite good. I am really surprised at the elegant expression of this sketch. I'm looking forward to the answer of my ´girlfriend

Mein jüngerer Bruder wird 50,  willkommen im Club! Er wollte keine große Party, nur ein paar Freunde. Leider können wir ihn nicht besuchen. So schickten wir ihm Päckchen mit ein paar Spezialitäten aus dem Garten und einem Buch aus seiner Lieblingsreihe. Und für das Kärtchen mit den guten Wünschen nahm ich mir den Wochen-Sketch und fand eine sehr schöne, passsende Lösung. 

Karten für Männer sind ja nicht so einfach, aber das Packpapier mit dem Packband, sowie dem nach vorn gerichteten Worten "auf zu neuen Ufern" wird ihm bestimmt gefallen. Meine ältere Schwester wird nächtes Jahr 55. Sie wird ganz groß feiern und wir sind eingeladen! Ich finde auch: man sollte die Feste feiern, wie sie fallen. Aber ich denke mit 55 hat man gemerkt: Auch mit Ü50 hat das Leben noch viel, viel zu bieten! Mein Bruder dagegen steht im Moment noch unter Schock (grins).

This week my younger brother celebrate his 50th birthday, welcome to the club ! He wanted no big party, just a few friends. We can not visit him. So we sent him a parcel with a few specialties from the garden and a book from his favorite series . And for the card with the good wishes, I took the sketch weeks and found a very nice , matching solution .
Cards for men are not so simple, but the wrapping paper with packing tape, and the front-facing words "to new shores" will probably please him. Next year my older sister clebrate her 55 birthday. She will celebrate it with a big party and the whole familiy is invited ! I think: one should celebrate the festivals as they fall . Perhaps my brother is still a little bit shocked at the moment.
